COMPREHENSIVE SPEECH, LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION ASSESSMENTS

Providing direction as to the nature of therapy required, Bilton Speech Pathology Clinic undertakes extensive speech, language and communication assessments. This informs the diagnoses and development of an individualised treatment plan, alongside the formalised findings to support the applications for funding, but more importantly, to best inform families and educators about the areas requiring support.

FAMILY CONSULTATION AND PARTNERSHIPS

Our practice embraces the vital role of parents and families including grandparents and siblings in learning ways that enrich existing communication skills but extend them to support the goals of speech therapy.

NO REFERRAL REQUIRED

Appointment referrals to Bilton Speech Pathology Clinic are not required so should you identify an area of concern, you are welcome to schedule a session without having seen a doctor or specialist.

MULTI-TEAM APPROACH

Bilton Speech Pathology Clinic are advocates of the strength in approaching speech therapy with a multi-team focus, involving all relevant services including early intervention services, childcare, preschools, schools, occupational therapists and liaison with general practitioners, ear, nose and throat specialists, audiologists, neurologists, paediatricians and work placement agencies.

NDIS PLANS AND MEDICARE CAREPLANS

Medicare and the NDIS have opened up many opportunities where there were previously tight financial constraints. Bilton Speech Pathology Clinic welcomes clients accessing therapy under these schemes and is compliant with all required documentation.
